The project was 70+ total mechanicals on different substrates and sizes. Initially, the studio manager thought it would take two or more production artists several weeks to complete. Utilizing my years of experience and organization skills, in just two days I had a process in place to single-handedly provide the art director with agency templates including rough layouts for all of the mechanicals. After the art director refined the layouts and got them approved by the client it took me only three days to finalize the mechanicals, collect and then send the files to the vendor for production (They were large files). This gave us more time to get proofs back to check for color consistency across the varying substrates. I became the "go-to guy" for dominations, repeating my process with dominations for the Lion King at Penn Station and On Your Feet at Kennedy Airport for International arrivals.
